The following Conditions shall apply while engaging Piekuns Cargo Services LLC. for the carriage of Shipments from and between countries. Piekuns Cargo Services LLC. reserves the right to amend, modify, change or add additional conditions without prior notice.
Liability is limited strictly to the amount accepted by Piekuns Cargo Services LLC. The Company excludes any liability for loss, damage, delay, or destruction arising from unavoidable circumstances, force majeure, customs intervention, government authority action, natural disasters, transport interruptions, or circumstances beyond its control.
“Sender” or “Shipper” refers to the individual or entity listed on the Air Waybill. “Consignee” or “Recipient” refers to the party receiving the shipment. “Shipment” includes all goods transported under a single Air Waybill. “Transportation Charges” include all rates, declared value charges, special handling fees, customs duties, taxes, surcharges, and ancillary fees associated with carriage.
The declared value for carriage shall not exceed the actual replacement or commercial invoice value of the shipment contents.
All rates are based on the applicable rate list in force at the time the contract of carriage is concluded. Rates exclude customs duties, taxes, clearance charges, and other import/export fees.
Quotations provided prior to shipment are estimates only. Final charges may vary based on actual weight, dimensions, customs assessments, and applicable surcharges.
Piekuns Cargo Services LLC. reserves the right to revise rates at any time without notice.
Payment of invoices is due within fourteen (14) days from the invoice date. Duties and taxes are payable immediately upon receipt. The Sender remains fully liable for all transportation charges, duties, taxes, and additional expenses incurred.
Piekuns Cargo Services LLC. reserves the right to inspect and verify shipment details, weight, and documentation. Corrections may be made to the Air Waybill and invoice at any time if discrepancies are identified.
The Company reserves the right to hold, postpone, return, refuse, or cancel any shipment that:

The Sender warrants compliance with all applicable export laws, economic sanctions, and embargo regulations. The Sender is responsible for accuracy and completeness of all information provided.
The Sender must ensure dangerous goods are properly classified, packaged, labeled, and documented in compliance with international regulations. Any non-compliance shall be solely the responsibility of the Sender.
The Sender is responsible for adequate packaging to ensure safe transportation.
Piekuns Cargo Services LLC. may open and inspect shipments without notice, including X-ray screening in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Sender is responsible for compliance with customs regulations and providing accurate documentation. Shipments held or seized by customs authorities shall not result in liability to the Company.
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Customers are advised to obtain independent insurance coverage.
